As a qualified Mortgage Broker, based in Brighton, Queensland, Alisha leads our team and founded the business in 2020, initially trading as Mortgage Express.
With a passion for making finance fun (yes, it’s possible), real estate and renovations, Alisha brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the company. Her passion for finance began at a young age, learning to budget, count and handle money while shopping with her mum. Before starting Allora Finance, Alisha had a few careers, with diverse roles in the residential property, design and renovation industries.
Goal oriented, process driven, and a tiny bit of a perfectionist (🤭), she’s been dubbed our Chief Mortgage Magician - which makes sense given she was Harcourts #1 Mortgage Broker for Queensland and South Australia for the past three years (2022, 2023, 2024), and Mortgage Express’ 4th ranked mortgage broker across Australia in 2024.
When she’s not helping clients secure their next property loan, you can find her cooking or entertaining, at the gym, making art or planning her next travel adventure.

Kylie hails from The Entrance - a coastal town in the Central Coast region of New South Wales, and joined the business at the beginning of 2025.
Kylie has built her career, in varying roles, around setting people up for life. She understands that financial success is a big element of this journey and loves the empowerment that comes with knowing how to use and access money. For Kylie, looking beyond the day-to-day transactions of life and considering the big picture is just the beginning of opening up a world of possibilities for her clients.
As an effective and efficient operator who prides herself on building authentic client relationships, our resident Loan Wizard, Kylie loves matching clients with a great loan.

Joining the Allora Finance team in 2025 is Steph, a young mum from the Brisbane bayside suburb of Birkdale.
Steph has an extensive background in finance and insurance (namely of the motor vehicle variety). Getting a taste for sales and negotiating early on in her career, she’s a whiz at making the lending process as simple and stress free as possible - from getting to know your goals (and challenges) to matching you with a great loan and walking you through the fine print. If there’s a calculator involved, Steph’s onto it faster than you can say ‘fixed rate’.
When she’s not helping first home buyers navigate the daunting process of mortgage lending, Steph enjoys swimming and gym sessions, doing a good jigsaw or sudoku puzzle.

As the first full-time employee, Cary joined Allora Finance at the beginning of 2024, as loan processor and Alisha’s right hand woman.
Cary's technical background as an engineering graduate, combined with experience working in the manufacturing sector, showcases her strong technical aptitude and adaptability. Transitioning into mortgage broking support, Cary has made loan processing her domain - from organising documents to supporting the application process, Cary keeps things running smoothly at Allora Finance.
Cary is meticulous by nature, with a knack for details and a genuine passion ensuring everything is accurate and precise for submissions and beyond. We call her the Paperwork Ninja; a ninja, but with paperwork instead of nunchucks.
When Cary’s not pouring over the details of your next loan you can find her watching Korean drama or anime (often staying up late to finish a series) and playing with her cats.

She has 9 cats which she adores. The most troublesome and biggest one is named King Kong
She plays competitive chess
Her favorite colour is blue, but so is her mums - so she switched to grey!
She loves listening to old music
She enjoys the comfort of her home, but would love to travel more with her family
